Jill Sanders, MD, is a pediatrician and HIV clinician. She is originally from Texas, USA, and completed her undergraduate training in Biochemistry at the University of Texas. She completed medical school at University of Texas Houston Health Science Center. Her pediatric specialty training was conducted at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she also served as Chief Resident. She recently completed a Master of Public Health from the University of London, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Dr. Sanders is the module leader for Clinical Governance and Quality Improvement, Principles of Teaching and Learning, and Primary Care Research. She is a clinical supervisor in child health, infectious diseases (HIV and tuberculosis), and mental health. She is the staff pediatrician at Motebang Hospital in Hlotse, Leribe, supporting infant, child and adolescent health in inpatient and outpatient settings. She is also a resource for the local HIV and tuberculosis clinics. She is a member of the Motebang Hospital Quality Improvement Committee and active in several departmental quality improvement teams.
