Lesotho Medical & Dental Internship Administration and Management
The organizational structure of an Internship Program consists of Ministry of Health (MoH), Lesotho Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Council (LMDPC) and Lesotho Boston Health Alliance(LeBoHA). LMDPC prescibes the internship guidelines. The Ministry of Health as a custodian of health services, provides the internship program with resources to carry out the internship training and the coordination has been delegated to LeBoHA. Subsequently a task team was established to play an advisory and oversight role
The internship coordination team consists of internship director, coordinator, administrator, finance and monitoring & evaluation to provide technical support to both LMDPC and MoH, thus ensuring quality internship program.
